I had to go out and buy some boxer shorts and a new belt. Having found what I was looking for at a reasonable price, I paid for my purchases and was presented with this petite bag with flowers on it.

The Spaghetti Kid

Alice's appetite had not been so good since arriving in Bangkok until we discovered that the hotel chef makes an excellent Spaghetti Bolognese (when in Rome...). You can see her enjoying it below. You can also see part of the Asian lady who, having had two cans of lager, was on to Caipirinha at 1pm and was crying and shouting on a video call. The staff were quite embarrassed, but Alice carried on eating as if nothing was happening.

Paris to Bangkok

We travelled to Bangkok via Frankfurt in order to have a night flight for the girls. We arrived early at the airport and discovered that we had too many bags, luckily the ground crew took pity on us and let everything go through. We had around 120kg of luggage with us!
We discovered that you get to go on the plane first with kids, overtaking the sheep that stand in the queue waiting to board, very satisfying!
The short Paris - Frankfurt flight was Alice's first time in a plane and she took it in her stride. In Frankfurt, Cécile had time for a quick Bretzel before boarding and we were off for a ten hour flight. We managed to take two whole rows to ourselves as there were few people on the plane, everyone got a relatively good nights sleep.
All in all the trip went far more smoothly than expected!
